Building the products and the business behind them

Pink Elephant Planning was a custom stationery business I co-owned from 2013 through 2017. My work included programming production equipment and building the CRM, storefront, customer service platform, and shipping integrations.

Problem: Selling custom stationery online involved product design, physical production, customer service, and shipping. Those responsibilities had to be handled together to run the store.
Responsibility: Designed stationery; programmed laser-guided die cutters and four-color process printers; built the CRM, online store, customer service platform, and shipping integrations; handled marketing, social media, business licensing, bookkeeping, and accounting.
Outcome: Pink Elephant Planning operated from 2013 through 2017. My contribution included the products, production setup, online store, and systems for customer service and shipping.

2013 through 2017

I designed the stationery and programmed laser-guided die cutters and four-color process printers. I built the CRM from scratch, along with the online store, customer service platform, and shipping integrations. Marketing and social media were part of the work too.

I also handled the business license, bookkeeping, and accounting.

Build the customer and production systems

I built the CRM from the ground up and programmed the equipment used to produce the stationery. These were part of the customer service, production, and fulfillment responsibilities I handled for the business.
